First Impression

Step 1: Read to predict:

What would the author write in the passage?

What would the first impression be about?

设计意图: 通过读标题对文章进行预测,激发学生读文章的兴趣和欲望。

Step 2: Read to summarize:

设计意图:快速浏览文章,给文章分段并概括出每部分的大意。

设计意图: 通过写作,达到以督促写的目的,让学生能更深层次的领会文章的含义和内容,同时也能复习运用文中的词汇。
