一、教学分析
本课为牛津英语5B Unit8 At the weekends PartA，所谈论的内容是周末活动，其最基本的表达方法是How do you spend your weekends? How does he/she spend his/her weekend? 及其回答.我把本部分安排在本单元的第一课时.因为B部分与本部分联系不大,而C、D部分我作为本部分的巩固和延伸。我结合五年级学生的认识水平、英语课程标准的要求及教学内容确立了本课时的
1、教学目标

Step2 Presentation
1、at the weekends
T: Let`s juess the riddle . (PPT显示) Saturday+Sundays＝?
T: It`s‘ weekend’.（PPT显示谜底）并教授该单词。
T: This class, let`s learn Unit8 At the weekends.(教师板书课题)
并教授at the weekends 这个短语。
（本步骤设计说明：通过一个谜语自然引出单词weekend和课题，增加了英语的趣味性，过渡自然。）
2、very learn …from…
T: I usually surf the Internet at the weekends .(通过电脑屏幕显示上网图片) It`s very interesting. I can learn a lot from it .
教授单词和词组very 和learn …from…
3、How do you spend your weekends?及回答。
T: What do you usually do on Saturdays and Sundays?
S2: I usually…(待学生回答后师再问) T: How do you spend your weekends?并引导学生回答。让学生理解How do you spend your weekends?和What doyou ususlly do on Saturdays and Sundays?
教师利用How do you spend your weekends?和学生进行几组问答后让学生同桌之间自由练习问答。
（本步骤设计说明：在教师自然引出本课句型后，通过学生自由问答，把自主权交给学生，让他们自由发挥充分练习，充分发挥学生的主体作用。）
4、How does he/she spend his/her weekend?及其回答。
通过对一个学生提问，教师再问其他学生How does he/she spend his/her weekend?引导学生回答He/She…并通过PPT显示几组图片，来对该句型进行巩固练习。（图片内容有David爬山，LiuTao 游泳等。）
5、Do some exercise.
1、Gussing game.
T: Now let’s play a guessing game.(指导学生做句子的练习，为后面的课文学习做铺垫。教师此时要讲清游戏的要求，并和一组学生示范后再组织学生练习。)（教师走到一个学生面前问How do you spend your weekends?学生小声对教师说I …, How does he/she spend his/her weekends? （教师在转向另外一个学生问）S1：He…S:No.(被猜的学生答后，学生们接着猜)（此后让学生来问答，做三组即可。）
（本环节设计说明：在猜句子练习中，学生不仅学会回答问题，也要学会提问，并且把本节课第一人称和第三人称句型有效的结合起来，突破了本课重点和难点，为后面的交际练习做些语言上的准备。）
6、often 和 sometimes用法
教师出示挂历：在大部分周末地方画上游泳图案，在剩下的周末画上篮球图，引导学生问老师How do you spend your weekends?老师回答：I often go swimming. 再指着篮球回答 Sometimes I play basketball. 让学生理解often 和 sometimes用法
Step3. Learn the text.
1．T: I know a lot about your weekends .Now ,open your books on page 60 and look at the picture.(教师出示课文主题图，引导学生看图质疑) T：Who are they?
2．T: Listen to the passage and think about these questions.
（播放前言）
1）． What day is it today ? 2） What are the students doing?
3． Check the answers 在第二问题后出示talk about 并学习。
4．T: Ok The children are talking about their weekends ? How do they spend their weekends. Let`s watch the cartoon.（听对话录音，完整感知全文）
5．T: Let`s watch the cartoon again, and remember how they spend the weekends,教师先给学生提示，让学生口头练说每个人是怎么样过周末的。
6．T: Open your books at page 60, read the dialogue by
yourselves, then fill in the form.

【评析与反思】
本节课的教学成功地利用教材这个载体，努力挖掘教材的潜力，为学生假设真实的语言环境，让学生在情境中学，在活动中练，生活中用。并鼓励学生积极参与，大胆表达，使学生在轻松自信的学习过程中获得成功的体验，培养学生的自信心。小记者采访，让学生在小组活动中相互学习，学会与他人合作。
本节课课堂密度大，信息量大。运用了以旧带新，精讲多练的原则，层次清楚，过渡自然。由第一人称带出第三人称。自然导入，突出重点，分散了难点，层层递进，为后面的课文的学习及活动的开展做了很好的铺垫。
课文学习的处理不是为学习课文而学习，而是注重学生语言能力的培养。看图质疑，听录音回答，培养学生良好的听、说、读、写的习惯，培养学生运用语言的能力。游戏虽短小，但对巩固句子，起到了很好的作用。小记者活动为学生营造了真实的语言环境。并且让学生有成功的体验。
